About the client

The SAQ® Sports College is a part of SAQ® International, who are world leaders in the benefits of human movement. One of the key objectives of the SAQ® Sports College is to make coaching and physical fitness education available to as wide an audience as possible, whilst providing value for money.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

The brief

The Sports College courses were originally sold as products in among the other equipment and resources offered by SAQ®, making it difficult to promote the college offering separately. A need for a new website was identified, with the aim of promoting the Sports College on a site of its own, with links back to the main website and Moodle learning zones for branding consistency.

The site needed to look professional, emphasising the three key areas offered by the College – certificates (short courses) and Diplomas (level 3), which are all online courses; and One Day Awards (offline, practical courses).

Search engine optimisation and a social media strategy were required as part of an ongoing support package.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

The solution

A bespoke Wordpress website was developed to be fully responsive, ensuring it displayed correctly on any device. Woocommerce was used as the e-commerce solution for the purchase of courses.

The website was optimised for relevant keywords relating to sports courses, physical education and other similar areas.

Results:

  • Professional, responsive WordPress website with integrated e-commerce solution;
  • Content managed platform to allow the client to update it easily themselves;

  • Significant increase in enquiries about courses coming from social media.
